"Grape Snack" 6in x 6in Oil

I am not sure what the knife has to do with eating grapes but it looks great there!

"Two Grape clusters" 6in x 6in. oil

Life seems crazy at present so I thought I needed some solitary time to paint.   I love the sunny feel to this painting.

"A Celebration" 8in x 8in, oil

All the cherries came out for the celebration but someone had already eaten the cake!   Now, they wonder what is in the box and will it be something for them?

"Mostly Out & About" 6" x 6" Oil

Things are opening up a bit and the cherries are out and about looking for places to eat and play, but a few of them are staying put and not risking it, waiting to see what happens.

"Clustered" 6" x 6" Oil

Everywhere the grape family went they went together wether they wanted to or not.  This painting looks very patriotic with all the red, white and blue.  Funny the things you don't see until it is reduced to a small square.

Blackberries 6" x 6" oil

With all this time available, I have been organizing my paperwork and studio.  Already built shelves for my shed and organized there.   There are other rooms to tackle.   I am concerned that I will not get all my organizing done before the staying at home ban is lifted.   This has been a great staycation so far.

"Scattered Cherries" 6in x 6in. oil

Finally, a painting!   I have been overwhelmed of late, by life in general, so I am trying to get back into the rhythm and swing of painting.   It was a struggle but here is one small painting.   I hope many will follow.

Thank you for watching my blog and my art.

"Gran Patron Piedra Tequila" 8in x 8in oil

At first glance this looks like a bourbon but... much to my surprise... it is a Tequila!  I thought all tequilas were clear.    Obviously, I don't know much.  I was sent this bottle to do a painting for someone and I thought I would practice first.    When I saw those glass stripes on the sides of the bottle, I panicked.   Much to my relief they were fairly easy to do.  Whew!  The cork top is stainless around a lava rock.  It's heavy and pretty cool.

"Green Yellow Orange" 6" x 6" oil

Did you know that there are more than 8,000 grape varieties, and it takes about 2.5 pounds of grapes to make a bottle of wine.

"The Teapot and her friends" 6" x 6" oil

This was a demo that I painted in my Monday painting class.   I forgot to post that night but dreamed all night of tweaking the paint strokes.  So I was hell bent the next morning to change the painting.   So here it is!   I think it is better.   Class, what do you think?

"Two cherries and a blue plate" 6in x 6in oil painting

I just love it when the two cherry stems are still attached to each other.   Makes me feel hopeful.  When I paint the set-up on a white cloth I tend to see color in the white so I thought I would paint that in today!

The upper hand 6" x 6" oil

Sometime during the night the Little guys got the upper hand on the Big guys.   Now they are all sprawled out in the blue room except for one that was too tired and slept on the floor outside the door.   The Big guys are puzzled.
