"The Teapot and her friends" 6" x 6" oil

This was a demo that I painted in my Monday painting class.   I forgot to post that night but dreamed all night of tweaking the paint strokes.  So I was hell bent the next morning to change the painting.   So here it is!   I think it is better.   Class, what do you think?

Big Red is captured 6" x 6" oil

The little greenies have been following Big Red for weeks and finally they have captured him in a tea cup.   Now they are going to celebrate tonight.

I feel so rusty!   I have been out of town taking care of my sister who had fallen and broke her ankle in three places.  They did surgery and now she has 11 screws and a metal plate so going through an airport will never be the same for her again.   I had a good time there in Port Aransas TX despite the circumstance, and the weather was wonderful and I even got a dip in the pool.   She is recovering nicely and doing better.   I haven't painted a daily for more than a month and this one is a little rough.

I am home for about a week and then off to Ecuador for three weeks.   I can ship out paintings this week and then the next time I will be able to ship out will be after December 8.   Sorry for the inconvenience.

Looks like the pear is sitting on top of the teapot and singing "I'm a little teapot short and stout..."  Clearly this pear has been into the wine.
