The yellow marble is like a deer in the headlights, caught in the spotlight of magnification.    What was he doing hanging around with these two other guys?   Look at them!   Don't they look a little too innocent?

Inspecting my marbles 6"x6" oil

It was fun to inspect my marbles today once I finally got them out of my head.   I realized that they needed polishing and dusting off and once that was done they looked as good as new.   After taking a count I realized that some were missing.

It felt so good today to just paint freely and I had to start with cherries which for me are so much fun to paint.   I wanted to start the new year with something positive and fun.  And of course I had to use my favorite magnifier.

Pear inspection 6"x6" oil

I feel so rusty!   I have been out of town taking care of my sister who had fallen and broke her ankle in three places.  They did surgery and now she has 11 screws and a metal plate so going through an airport will never be the same for her again.   I had a good time there in Port Aransas TX despite the circumstance, and the weather was wonderful and I even got a dip in the pool.   She is recovering nicely and doing better.   I haven't painted a daily for more than a month and this one is a little rough.

I am home for about a week and then off to Ecuador for three weeks.   I can ship out paintings this week and then the next time I will be able to ship out will be after December 8.   Sorry for the inconvenience.
