Saint-Paul asylum in Saint Remy France 8"x10" oil

Sold
Saint-Paul Asylum is where Vincent Van Gogh stayed for a year from May 1889-May 1890 as a self-admitted patient.   During much of his stay he was confined to the grounds where he made paintings of the garden, olive trees, views from his window and of course the irises.   I took this reference photo when I visited in 2007.
