"On the beach" 16in x 20in oil on linen

She has the most beautiful long thick black hair.  It was actually a little longer but I had to have the curls in the picture.  I added the sketchy background for effect.   I know the horizon is a little high but it looks good for the composition.

"Sunning" 11" x 14" oil

It turned cold today, we even had snow flurries!   But in the studio we were make believing it was a hot sunny day at the beach (we did have to put a heater next to her to get this effect).  Carolyn even wanted to put on sun screen, but we decided not to waste it.  Wouldn't the smell have been great!  At one point she could even feel sand at her feet... or was it just dirt on the floor.
