I worked all day yesterday trying to get my new email account to work.  Finally had a genius at the Apple store to do it.   Those geniuses are so clever!   

The focus is her hair so I painted the rest softer.   I believe the color comes out better in a larger picture.

My goal on this painting was to let the brush strokes show and to be looser.  I walked the colors around the canvas to create color harmony.    I am happy with how it turned out.

The day I painted this I decided to use a limited palette with Winsor Newton Burnt sienna, ultramarine blue and white. It was fun and a great exercise.
