I was not able to paint today but I thought I would take this opportunity to show one of my larger works. This recently won an honorable mention in a show here in Louisville. This is my Mother's mixer from the 1950's and still the mixer I use today. It is a General Electric with three blades.

This is such a great site! I like the way you set this up! Great content and images as well! Thanks for sharing this! Great art works!...Daniel
Really like the muted palette in this one. It really adds to the retro feel. Sometimes you can't beat these old mixers. They were built to last!
Love the nostalgic feel to this painting. I can see why you won an honorable mention... lovely work.

Claudia, Thanks for sharing this wonderful painting. I love the palette and a wee look at history. Your painting is a favorite.
Love this painting and your subject. It's one of those paintings that I would like to see in person.
Love these old appliances! Great subject matter, and beautiful painting!
Like this so much! Do you have two old mixers? Doesn't the one in the older painting have red or orange on it?
