Mom's mixer 16"x16" oil on wood

I was not able to paint today but I thought I would take this opportunity to show one of my larger works.  This recently won an honorable mention in a show here in Louisville.   This is my Mother's mixer from the 1950's and still the mixer I use today.   It is a General Electric with three blades.

Really like the muted palette in this one. It really adds to the retro feel. Sometimes you can't beat these old mixers. They were built to last!

Love this painting and your subject. It's one of those paintings that I would like to see in person.

Like this so much! Do you have two old mixers? Doesn't the one in the older painting have red or orange on it?
