"Littlest escape"

Sold
I loved the ribbon so much that I had to do another one today.   the background was a grayish purple with a yellowish light so I added light yellow to the purple/grey surface.  below:  #13 Bag, Small, red rose chenille. Click here to see more details.

Interesting how the shape of the ribbon and its placement change everything, change the focus. My eyes don't light on any one thing for very long with the ribbon in the picture. So, does that mean that the ribbon adds energy?

Love the ribbon, It adds so much movement! Are these still the same bunch of orchids?? I always thought of them as being sort of a delicate flower, but now I know different!
Also, I've been admiring your purses, they are really wonderful!! What great work you do!

What a beautiful yellow ribbon! It's the star of the painting. The orchids are just supporting cast.

Claudia, a multi faceted artist you are.
Love the sweet purses.
I can see the difference in this painting. Looks like having done it once, you dove in and really pulled the colors. Very rich and beautiful brushwork.
