Those two orchids that look like they are floating on the edge of the bowl are actually hooked on with the stem of each. Isn't it strange how each of them look so very different but actually have the same petals. And you might say "What have you been smoking?" I would reply "Nothing! I swear!"

Great composition. I like the color of this bowl against the reds of the orchids. And since you mentioned toe shoes, I'm seeing them everywhere!
