The Fedora 8"x10" oil on gessobord

Sold
A friend could not go to the Saturday open studio session so I went in her place.   The model did a great job of getting back into the pose and holding it.   We had a little trouble with the lights flickering on and off but otherwise it all went well.   The room was crowded with other artist and  few of them I knew.   It was a fun morning.

So nice, Claudia. I love the soft color. The facial structure is so sound.

Claudia, every day your work has me shaking my head (in the best way!) in amazement...and smiling. So good.

Love the way the light falls on her face, and the slight tilt of her head. Just great!

Absolutely beautiful Claudia - painting models quickly, from life, always produces my favorite loose energy. Great job

This is fabulous, Claudia. Love the skin tones, drawing, brushstrokes, color harmony. Hmmm, what else is there?
