OK, I know there are no eye glasses in this painting but I thought the use of the magnifying glass was enough. I got this favorite magnifying glass of mine in an antique store about 14 years ago. I thought it was perfect for this painting of my dictionary. The chipped metal base is a magnet.

Claudia, this is a very cool painting. Love it. Love the red background too. You have some lovely props in this painting.
I like the blue base of the magnifying glass against the red table and then the repeat of the blue in the shadow of the book. Very nice!
