Nosey and Sprightly were on their usual hunt for cheese when they heard a whirring sound. Then they saw it, an Atomic Robot Man, they could not believe their eyes! They had heard stories from their grandparents about these wind up toys that walked around on the floor. They wondered if it ate cheese.

Claudia, I love your cute stories that accompany your gorgeous painting! Beautiful colors, and great composition!
Thanks Nancy, Some days it falls into place. You know how that is!
Hi Claudia, I have been enjoying Steve's GlobSpot ever since I saw Diane Hoeptner's painting at the end of March. It is with great anticipation that I wait for the next artist (that I find) to paint a mouse. Well, I hit the pay-load tonight when I checked GlobSpot! Now I am a Claudia Hammer fan and signed up as a Follower. I don't know what it is about mice (in art) that I like so much, but last year when I set up a studio, I read that Stella Violano had a studio mouse. I went straight to my pet store, where they did not sell "pet" mice so I got a gerbil and named her 'Mouse'. She is sitting a few feet from me now! My 3 dogs even like her - as long as she's in the cage! I love your stories and truly can't wait to see what Nosey & Sprightly will do next! Thank you for a really enjoyable story and delightful paintings! Beckie
Very cute story, I dig your 'Atomic Robot man'.
