Mother's little helper 5"x7", oil painting

Sold
I love my scissors.  I have a pair in every room of the house.  These are my largest pair of paper scissor, 14" long and my smallest sewing pair, 3.75" long.   I will have to do more paintings of  the other pairs.   I don't paint with a formula, I paint what I see.   The silver of the large pair was reflecting some blue that wan behind it.  The gold was made up of warm yellow and brown + cool yellow(greenish) and white.

What a cute painting and concept! Baby scissors are paradoxially being "protected" by a sharp pair of Momma scissors. Nice painting, Claudia!

I should have you do the commentary about the paintings. Yours are so much more interesting than mine!

Claudia--I could easily be your agent. It fascinates me that your subject matter are so often the same as I choose to paint. For instance, your painting today of the hinge and tools. I saw it and laughed, because it is so similar to a series that I did (but you did a better job at it than I!). I plan to take Carol Marines workshop to hone my skills and to experience the process that you shared. Thanks again for sharing!

I don't remember if you said you had a web site?

No, I would be ashamed to have a website as I am not ready for the world to see much of my artwork, plus I am too lazy to create a website. Maybe in the future!
