Two bottles 6"x6" oil

Carrying on with the theme of using only three colors (burnt sienna, ultramarine blue, titanium white) here is what came out of today's efforts.   The shadow from the blue bottle was not really that color but when you are doing this exercise you need to paint the color value not the color itself.    Most of painting is value anyway.

Hi Claudia,
this painting is lovely. I want to do this exercise too, it seems valuable. Thanks for your helpful comment on my blog, I have put it in my head to percolate and will use that info.

Love your bottle paintings and the minimal palette works so well. Very nice!

This bottle painting and the one posted yesterday are really nice. You did a great job in using the limited palette.
