This series started by accident, I swear!  There I was painting movers and shakers then along comes these beautiful orchids.  What is a person to do?  I have to paint them before they disappear, don't I?

    You're right, the shakers will wait, the flowers won't wait for long! Either way, I love your paintings, always bright, colorful, and your notes are fun and interesting to read.

    Hi Claudia: I just LOVE this! I grow orchids yet find them very hard to paint. You have solved the compositional problems of one stem of a dendrobium brilliantly.
