Day four, Zhaoming Wu Workshop 11"x14" oil on canvas

Day four of the Zhaoming Wu workshop and here again you can see the focal point.  We painted the model all day which amounted to a six hour pose and if you take out the 5 minute breaks it is 5.5 hours.  My concentration was getting a likeness, proportion and color value with some artist license here and there.

This is my favorite, Claudia. The light on the figure is beautiful. Having her feet in shadow and undefined adds to the feeling that the light on on her upper body is what the painting is all about. Great job!

Your workshop paintings are just wonderful, Claudia! I like the softness and the flow, especially, as well as the colors.
