Royal folds 12"x12" oil on canvas covered wood

Please contact me to purchase.
Severe thunderstorms moved through the area last night and this morning was dark and dreary.  The dark purple fabric was very dramatic but as I painted the day moved on and the sun came out and suddenly there was more detail in the dark folds.  It made a big difference in the way this painting came out.

These fabric paintings are luscious. You did a great job with challenging subject matter! Wonderful series!

Amazingly realistic! Drapery is so difficult, and you make it look easy.

This is amazing, Claudia! I have been loving your fabric series, but I thin this tops them all. The shifts in values between shadow and light and the reflected light are perfectly captured. Great job!

How wonderful and rich. As someone else said - luscious.

I agree with all the above comments. You make it look SO EASY, but I know it's not.
Great work.
