I'm gearing up for the Kentuckana Cluster Dog Show here in Louisville Kentucky, March 17-21, so I will be working on a few new pieces to add to my collection of pet portraits. You can see more of my pet portraits on my website (listed below). This is the painting I've been working on today. It still needs a few more touch-ups but mostly it is done. I took this photograph of this puppy last year at the Cluster Show, he was such a sweet dog. This painting is on a 3/8" wood panel.

What a wonderful portrait! I love that saggy part of his lip--those are so difficult to paint and it is so well done. That you can paint this in one day is amazing--you are so talented, Claudia!
