"Reflecting on" 6"x8" $100

This was our model today. I thought she looked like she could be on a broadway musical. She had a warm light on her right and a large window with the overcast light coming in on her left. I thought I had done a rather good job until I photographed it. I should have painted it with more color so it would be more dramatic.

An amazing portrait and gesture! SOOO very well done! Please don't change the portrait--the subtle shifts in temperature are exquisite. IF you change anything, softly gray-down the dress and/or the "blueness" of the background (but the strokes in both are terrific!). Then they will not compete with the amazing face as much. But, Stunning as is!

Me again. Stared at your painting some more. Don't change the background--the strokes and colors are great!

Thanks, I usually don't go back in and change anything. I use it as a lesson learned. Love your comments!
